The Opportunity
We are growing our team and looking for an Associate or Vice President to join our M&A practice. You will play a central role in executing transactions end to end, from pitch through close, and contributing to new business. The level of the role will be determined by experience.
What You Will Do
- Lead or support day-to-day execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A processes
- Build and review financial models, including operating models, DCF, LBO, and accretion/dilution analyses
- Prepare and oversee marketing materials, including teasers, CIMs, management presentations, and pitch books
- Manage buyer outreach, data rooms, due diligence, and coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisors
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and counterparties throughout the transaction
- Mentor and train analysts, reviewing their work for quality and accuracy
- VP level: lead deal teams, drive negotiations, and develop client relationships
What You Bring
- Associate: 3+ years of investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity experience
- Vice President: 5-6+ years of investment banking experience, with a track record of leading M&A transactions to close
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and accounting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, in French and English, with the polish to engage senior executives and business owners
- Ability to manage multiple live mandates and deadlines with a high degree of ownership
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA an asset
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping build a growing platform
Compensation and Benefits
- Base on experience, salary of $90,00+ for Associate and $125,000+ for VP
- Target annual bonus up to 200% for VP of base salary, based on individual and firm performance
- Meaningful deal exposure and a clear path to advancement
